Stuffed Tomatoes

This delicious recipe is kind of fiddly to make but is definitely worth the effort.




First put the tomatoes into some boiling water for a couple of minutes – to loosen their skins. Then drain off the water and cover the tomatoes with cold water, this will help to keep them firm.

Now carefully remove the tomato skins, and cut a slice off of the tomatoes stalk end. Then scoop out the centers and pour a tiny amount of salad dressing into each tomato, then drain.

Next chop the shrimps and put these together with the mayonnaise into a bowl and mix. Then fill the tomatoes with this mixture.

Another idea

After skinning the tomatoes, slice them, and then carefully remove the pips. Next arrange the tomatoes on a serving dish together with alternate slices of hard-boiled egg. Garnish with mayonnaise, paprika and chopped parsley.
