When should a baby shower be held and how long
should it last
As many of the guests are likely to be working on weekdays, the
weekend is therefore most convenient to most people and possibly
mid-morning. A morning start would be appropriate depending on how
far away the guests live.
Between two and three hours would be the usual duration of a baby
shower. Plan it to last two hours long, you can always extend the
time if things are going well. Don't keep guests hanging around
if there is a danger of them becoming bored.
